1,000 square meters, 40 offices, five meeting rooms, an open-space, outdoor patios, a kitchen, and a special "chief happiness officer" in charge of keeping people happy at the Palace.

Opened at the beginning of the summer, the brand new Startup Palace, located in central Nantes near the Place Graslin, will host 25 start-ups per year. Major corporations and financial institutions in the region have already reserved space for their own start-ups.

More than a coworking space

Presented as a coworking space by its founders - three young entrepreneurs from Nantes - the huge space is actually much more than that. It provides working space and support to young web entrepreneurs from France and elsewhere, as well as access to training, coaching and a creative energy that entrepreneurs take advantage of as needed.

Full by autumn 2015

Here, nothing should get in the way of the spirit of initiative and creativity. An office in the coworking space rents for an average of 550 euros per month, all expenses included, on a month-to-month basis. And as proof that it meets a real need, it is already 60% full and should be totally full by autumn 2015, according to its founders.

A strong link in the Nantes digital ecosystem

Though it is a purely private initiative, the Startup Palace is one of the strongest links in the dynamic Nantes digital ecosystem and NantesTech. Neither incubator nor accelerator, the Startup Palace does offer innovative services, such as the "Operation Elephant", a highly successful coaching program to help people launch a start-up.
