Digital Tech: A video showcasing the booming NantesTech sector

The "NantesTech" video showcases the booming digital sector in Nantes, which has been awarded the NantesTech accreditation, has the highest rate of tech job creation in France and is home to start-ups that have raised tens of millions of euros in funding. 

Last year, Nantes earned the "FrenchTech" accreditation and joined the club of the most promising French cities in the tech sector.  

This thriving sector is showcased in a video coordinated by the economic development agency Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement for NantesTech. 

Highest rate of tech job creation in France 

As part of the FrenchTech initiative, Nantes has set two objectives: help create 10,000 new jobs in the digital tech sector in 10 years and help develop 10 international "Tech Champions" in Nantes. And all indicators point to success: Nantes already posts the highest tech job growth rate in France. The Nantes Saint-Nazaire metropolitan area wanted to highlight how a powerful industrial area successfully transitioned to the digital economy and attracted numerous start-ups, thanks to the local entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. 

Unlike other videos on the tech sector, the focus here is on key quality of life factors (the Elephant, Royal de Luxe) that help make the metropolitan area attractive to businesses looking to relocate and start-ups looking for a home.
