The Netherlands opens a Business Support Office in Nantes

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in France has opened a new Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO) in Nantes.

The NBSO opened in Nantes a year ago, with the aim of providing support services to Dutch companies looking for business opportunities, innovative collaborations, investments and locations in France and more particularly in Brittany and Pays de la Loire, as well helping them find business partners.
The NBSO also works with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) to provide information and support for French companies that have investment projects abroad.

Actions carried out by the Dutch Office in Nantes

Since it opened last year, the NBSO Nantes has already helped some thirty companies find partners, new business and investment opportunities.
The Netherlands currently has 21 offices worldwide, in Europe, Asia and North and South America. These offices are located in regions where there is no consulate and which offer opportunities for Dutch companies to expand on the growth markets.

Nantes chosen for its economic diversification

The work that has been done in the regions to promote innovation and diversify your economic base is an important reason we chose Nantes and the two regions for our Business Support Office," says Bas Pulles, Director of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the counterpart of Business France.
The economic potential of these two regions, in particular in several sectors of excellence such as agri-food, offshore wind power, aeronautics, the marine industry and the energy transition, represents a common interest between these regions and the Netherlands.
