Industrial engineering firm Maser Engineering opened operations in late 2015 with support from the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement Agency, to capitalize on the opportunities afforded by the industrial strength of Saint-Nazaire.

For 40 years, Maser Engineering (450 employees, 42 M € in revenue) has been working throughout France with large aerospace, food processing, automotive and environmental corporations. Specializing in engineering, the company opened operations in Saint-Nazaire to take advantage of the industrial potential of Saint-Nazaire.

Saint-Nazaire was clearly the best choice, as Regional Director Stéphane Châtelain explains in the video below (in french)

A promising industrial area

Maser Engineering's customers include large industrial contractors such as Airbus and Famat in aerospace, as well as STX France Shipyards, for which it outfitted the staterooms on the new "Harmony of the Seas" cruise ship. There is no lack of opportunities for Maser, which expects to see strong growth for its business. In the short term, some sixty positions for technicians and engineers will be created, and more than 100 over the next 3 years.
